Aluminum Clamping Plates are typically used in linear
drive applications to clamp belt ends. Clamping plates are
economical to use and are designed to accurately mesh with
belt teeth. Figures 1 and 2 show typically reciprocating
drive. It is recommended to clamp a minimum of six teeth
of each belt end to obtain full belt strength.
